After 2nd January D9000 move from York T.M.D. to B.R.E.L. Doncaster from where eventually Preservation beckoned. After purchase she was moved to the Nene Valley railway, before going on tour at various open days, after many years in the waiting the second age of mainline running was to start, first on charters then returning to schedule passenger workings.
