From Ged Flannery at 2007-10-22 12:58:18 : A great photo of a great machine.The first time I saw 55 012 was at Newcastle,she was in the middle road about where she is in this photo.She took over from The Black Watch heading southn that was in 1976. Newcastle was always one of my favourite places,from this patform it was easy to see what was coming over the King Edward Bridge,and what Gates -head was sending over for the next engine swap. Great old days.
